What Is a Lubrication Coupling?
A lubrication coupling is a compression or threaded adapter that joins:
- Tube OD (4 mm, 6 mm, 8 mm nylon/copper) to female thread (PT 1/8, PT 1/4, NPT 1/4)
- Metering block outlet to secondary distribution line
- Injector port to branch tubing toward a bearing
Correct coupling selection prevents the two most common field failures: leaks at the seal face and tube pull-out under vibration.
