Bucket Pumps
A bucket pump mounts on the container the grease already comes in — a 5-gallon pail, a 16-gallon (120L) keg, a 55-gallon drum. That is the whole idea: no decanting, no contamination, no half-empty pails; the pump follows the grease from container to container until it is empty.
IsoHiTech catalogs five bucket pumps here: air-operated units for 5-gallon, 16-gallon and 55-gallon containers, a hand lever pump for 5-gallon buckets with a follower plate, and a 200-bar hand grease pump for direct bearing injection. Choose by the air you have and the container you buy.

Bucket Pump FAQ
Why does a follower plate matter on a bucket pump?
The follower plate is a wiper seal that descends with the grease level. Without it, grease bypasses around the pump inlet and the pump sucks air long before the pail is empty; with it, the pail empties cleanly and the plate scrapes the walls as it goes. On hand pumps it is the difference between emptying 95% of a pail and struggling with the last quarter.
What air pressure do pneumatic bucket pumps need?
Shop air at 6-8 bar (87-116 psi) is the standard supply; the pump’s internal ratio multiplies it to delivery pressure. Specify your shop air before ordering — a pump sized for a full compressor line will underperform on a small workshop compressor, and that shows up as slow delivery, not as an obvious fault.
Can one pump serve pails and drums?
Only with the right follower plate and riser tube for each container size. The 5-gallon, 16-gallon and 55-gallon pneumatic units are each built for their container class; ordering one and adapting it usually costs more in fittings and frustration than the right unit costs.
Hand or pneumatic for low-volume use?
If grease moves by the cartridge, hand; by the pail, either; by the drum, pneumatic. The 200 bar hand filler covers point-injection work where a shop has no air at all — lever effort rises with pressure, so reserve it for intermittent duty, not production rounds.
Does IsoHiTech match pumps to my grease supply?
Yes — tell the team the container sizes and grease grade (NLGI) you buy through the contact page, and the quote comes back with the pump, follower plate and hose specified for that exact supply.
