Chain Oilers

Chain oilers put a controlled film of oil on a moving chain — conveyor, drive, elevator, or crawler — at the rate the chain actually needs. Too little and pins wear out in months; too much and the excess throws off onto product, floors, and housings. Every model on this page exists to hit that middle rate and hold it.

IsoHiTech catalogs five units: programmable electric chain oilers, a heavy-duty line for mining and construction chains, a mini automatic unit, a manual lubricator, and roller brush assemblies that wipe the oil onto the chain evenly.

Chain Oiler FAQ

How much oil does a chain actually need?

Enough to carry lubricant into the pin-and-bushing contact, and no more. For most drive chains that means a thin film at each pass, metered on a timer — the electric and mini automatic units do this. If oil is dripping off the chain, the rate is too high and the excess is collecting dust.

Electric oiler or manual lubricator rounds?

Manual rounds work for short, slow, accessible chains lubed weekly — the 1L / 2.5L lubricator is built for that. Anything fast, long, enclosed, or hot needs an automatic unit, because the interval between “enough” and “too late” is shorter than a maintenance round.

Why add a brush assembly instead of a nozzle?

A dripping nozzle wets one spot on a moving chain; a roller brush wipes oil across the whole link surface as it passes. On fast conveyor chains the brush cuts oil consumption and throw-off at the same feed rate.

What makes a mining chain oiler different?

Capacity and protection. The 6L / 10L heavy-duty units carry enough oil for long crawler and scraper chains, and their housings are built for dust, washdown, and impact that would kill a shop-grade unit.

Can IsoHiTech match an oiler to my chain spec?

Yes — send chain pitch, speed, length, and environment through the contact page, and the team will size the reservoir and metering rate in writing.
