Pump Elements
The pump element is the wearing heart of a piston lubrication pump. The pump motor and reservoir can last a decade, but the element — the spring-return piston that meters each stroke — works every cycle, and when delivery drops, it is the element that gets replaced, not the pump.
IsoHiTech catalogs six pump elements here: spring-return piston elements in M18×1.5, M20×1.5 and M22×1.5 threads for DZGK and Lincoln-type grease pumps, and the BEKA-MAX EP-120, EP-170 and PE-170 elements for BEKA-MAX centralized systems.

Pump Element FAQ
How do I measure the thread without a gauge?
Measure the outside diameter of the element thread and count threads over 10 mm: M18×1.5 is 18 mm OD with 6 to 7 crests per 10 mm; M20×1.5 and M22×1.5 follow the same 1.5 mm pitch at 20 and 22 mm. The difference between adjacent sizes is visible to a caliper — 2 mm — so a single measurement separates them reliably.
What actually wears in an element?
The piston-to-bore clearance. Contaminated grease scores the bore, the spring fatigues, and the element starts bypassing — the pump cycles but delivery falls. That is why element replacement is scheduled maintenance in centralized systems, typically on grease quality and cycle count rather than failure.
Does stroke volume matter more than thread size?
They are the two halves of the order. The thread decides whether the element fits the pump; the stroke volume (mm³ per cycle, like the PE-170’s 170) decides how much grease each cycle moves. A correctly threaded element with the wrong stroke simply recalibrates the whole machine’s lubrication — order both, not one.
Are these interchangeable with the OEM elements they replace?
The M-series elements follow the threads and strokes used in DZGK and Lincoln-type pumps, and the EP/PE elements follow BEKA-MAX specifications. For a mixed fleet, send the pump nameplate list through the contact page and the team maps each pump to its element before you order.
Can IsoHiTech supply elements in service quantities?
Yes — the cataloged elements are quoted singly or in service packs. Ask through the contact page; stating pump models and element counts gets a pack quote with the lead time in writing.
