BEKA MAX MX-F Progressive Distributor

Progressive distributor compatible with BEKA MAX MX-F systems: 3 to 12 elements, 6 to 24 outlets, 25 to 105 mm3 per outlet, 300 bar, and M10 x 1 connections.

Progressive Distributor Compatible with BEKA MAX MX-F

This page describes a modular progressive piston distributor that cross-references to BEKA MAX MX-F element sizes and block dimensions. BEKA MAX is a trademark of its respective owner. This distributor is an aftermarket replacement, not manufactured, sponsored, or endorsed by BEKA MAX. MX-F designations are for cross-reference identification only.

The distributor meters oil or fluid grease to multiple lubrication points in a fixed sequence. Each metering element contains two outlets and one piston. The block builds from a minimum of three elements to a maximum of twelve elements. Users select element sizes of 25, 45, 75, or 105 mm3 per outlet to match machine point demand.

The assembly uses modular disk construction with a steel body and zinc-nickel coating. An inlet block, end block, and intermediate elements bolt together with tie rods. Replacement elements and seal kits are available for every block size. A visual stroke indicator pin sits on each element for cycle confirmation.

Block lengths follow published MX-F dimensions for element counts from three to twelve. Inlet pressure reaches 300 bar maximum. Temperature tolerance spans -30 to +80 C. For a quotation or dimensional review, contact the team through the quote page.

What an MX-F Distributor Does

A progressive distributor divides one lubricant inlet stream into many measured outlet streams. Each piston must complete its stroke before the next piston receives flow. The sequence repeats only when every piston has discharged its metered volume. A blocked outlet stops the whole block, which is the basis for visual or switch monitoring.

The inlet supplies lubricant to the first element. That element discharges through two outlets and then passes flow to the next element. Each element meters a fixed volume per cycle. The operator can scale total lubricant delivery by changing cycle speed or element count.

These distributors fit centralized lubrication systems with a pump, controller, and supply line. They work on machines with grouped bearings, slideways, spindles, or pins. The modular design lets a maintenance team add elements when lubrication points increase.

Element Sizes and Outputs

Each element delivers two equal outlet volumes per cycle. The four element sizes cover light slideways to large presses. The piston diameter determines output per stroke. Buyers should match each outlet volume to one lubrication point demand.

ElementOutput per outletOutput per elementPiston diameterTypical use
MX-F 2525 mm350 mm33 mmlight machinery, small slideways
MX-F 4545 mm390 mm34 mmstandard industrial bearings, spindles
MX-F 7575 mm3150 mm35 mmheavy-duty bearings, slow-speed equipment
MX-F 105105 mm3210 mm36 mmlarge machinery, presses, crushers

The 25 mm3 and 45 mm3 elements suit low-demand points that need frequent small doses. The 75 mm3 and 105 mm3 elements suit high-load points that need larger shots. Each element still has two outlets, so one element can feed two nearby points.

Selection examples and piping layouts appear in our progressive lubrication systems overview. For pump sizing with these elements, see the BEKA EP 120 pump element product page. System design rules appear in the progressive lubrication systems guide.

Block Lengths by Element Count

Dimension A is the total block length including inlet and end sections. Dimension B is the body length between mounting faces. Values follow the published MX-F modular pitch. Users should check their mounting space before ordering.

Each added element increases Dimension A by 14.75 mm. Each added element increases outlet count by two. The three-element block is the smallest assembly sold. The twelve-element block is the largest standard assembly.

Mounting drawings and outlet numbering are available on request. The block can mount in any orientation. Outlet positions follow a straight line on one face. Inlet and end blocks occupy the two outer ends.

Selection and Monitoring

Selection starts with counting lubrication points and their required volume per cycle. Group points by element size, then add one element per two points. Confirm total block length fits the machine zone. Confirm inlet thread and outlet thread options match existing piping.

Each element includes a visual stroke indicator pin. The pin moves when the piston cycles. An operator can watch the pin during pump operation. A blocked outlet prevents subsequent pistons from cycling, so pin movement stops.

Proximity switch monitoring fits only MX-F 75 and MX-F 105 elements. The switch mounts on the element and detects pin movement. MX-F 25 and MX-F 45 elements do not accept the proximity switch. The switch option is useful for remote cycle confirmation.

For installations using DJF2500 block hardware, see DJF2500 block details. This MX-F compatible line shares system planning logic with the wider BEKA MAX progressive distributors MX-F NS EE 4-7 range.

Inlet connection is M10 x 1 standard. Adapters allow G1/8 or G1/4 piping. Outlet connection is M10 x 1 internal thread standard, with G1/8 or G1/4 optional. Confirm adapter availability before finalizing pipe runs.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will this distributor work with my BEKA MAX system?

It cross-references to BEKA MAX MX-F element sizes, dimensions, and thread interfaces. The block mounts and meters in the same progressive sequence as the referenced MX-F design.

What do 25, 45, 75, and 105 mean?

Those numbers indicate the metered output per outlet in mm3 per cycle. Each element has two outlets, so element output is double that value.

Is the volume per outlet or per element?

The listed volume is per outlet, and each element contains two outlets. Thus an MX-F 45 element meters 45 mm3 from each outlet, 90 mm3 total per cycle.

How many outlets can one block have?

A block can have from six outlets on three elements to twenty-four outlets on twelve elements. Each added element increases outlet count by two.

Can I mix element sizes in one block?

Yes, you can mix 25, 45, 75, and 105 mm3 elements in one assembly. Confirm the element arrangement against your existing block when ordering.

Can it feed grease or only oil?

It meters mineral oil, fluid grease, and grease to NLGI 2. Oil viscosity should be 40 cSt and higher for reliable piston displacement.

Which elements accept a proximity switch?

Only MX-F 75 and MX-F 105 elements accept the proximity switch. All element sizes include the visual stroke indicator pin for local confirmation.

What are the inlet and outlet threads?

Inlet is M10 x 1 standard with optional G1/8 or G1/4 using an adapter. Outlet is M10 x 1 internal thread standard, with G1/8 or G1/4 optional.

How do I know the block is cycling?

Watch the visual indicator pin on each element during pump operation. A stopped pin after a blocked outlet signals interrupted flow downstream.
