Aftermarket DS Electric Grease Pump
This page describes an aftermarket electric grease pump that cross-references the DS series. This is an aftermarket pump, not manufactured, sponsored, or endorsed by any original equipment maker. The unit is a compact motor-driven plunger pump for centralized automatic lubrication. The motor drives a cam and eccentric that reciprocates a precision-ground plunger. A built-in relief valve protects the system from overpressure.
DC and AC Models
The 50150-10 is the DC 24V model for mobile machinery and battery-backed systems. The 50150-9 is the AC 220V 50/60 Hz model for stationary industrial equipment. Both share 25 ml/min discharge, 15 MPa maximum pressure, a 1.5 L reservoir, and 40 W power consumption.

SLR and Progressive Systems
The pump works in both system architectures. SLR meters lubricant proportionally through calibrated orifices, with 5 to 20 typical points. Progressive feeds a divider in fixed sequence, and a blockage stops the sequence for fault detection. See single-line lubrication system and progressive lubrication systems.
What 25 ml/min Means
The 25 ml/min figure is pump discharge, not the dose at each point. Metering devices and the divider split the flow according to the system layout. Size the system by point count and consumption per point. The relief valve protects against blocked lines and cold grease.
A practical sizing approach is to list every lubrication point with its required dose per cycle, add the totals, and compare the sum against what one pump cycle delivers at your interval. If the total demand exceeds the discharge within the available interval, a larger pump or a shorter interval is needed. Always leave margin for line losses on long runs, since cold or stiff grease raises the pressure the pump must hold.
The plunger pair is ground and hardened for consistent volumetric output with minimal internal leakage. The overflow valve is serviceable as a module, so relief settings can be checked and maintained without replacing the whole pump. Keep the reservoir covered and filled with clean grease, because contamination that reaches the plunger accelerates wear on the precision surfaces.
What to Confirm Before Ordering
Confirm DC 24V or AC 220V from the nameplate. Confirm lubricant grade NLGI 000 to 1. Confirm system architecture SLR or progressive. Confirm metering devices and fittings are ordered separately. For other pump options see grease pump. If you are not sure which model fits, contact the team with the existing part number and voltage.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which model do I choose, DC or AC?
Use 50150-10 DC 24V for mobile machinery. Use 50150-9 AC 220V for stationary equipment.
Can I use NLGI 2 grease?
No, NLGI 2 is too stiff. Use only NLGI 000, 00, 0, or 1.
Will this pump work with SLR or progressive systems?
Yes, both architectures are supported. Confirm your system type before ordering.
What pressure does the pump produce?
The maximum pressure is 15 MPa. That equals 150 bar or 2,175 psi.
What flow rate does the pump provide?
Pump discharge is 25 ml/min. It is not the dose per point.
What reservoir size is available?
The reservoir holds 1.5 L. Metal is standard, plastic is optional.
Is a controller included with the pump?
No controller is included. Order a timer or PLC control separately.
What protection does the pump have?
A built-in factory-set relief valve is included. It protects against blocked lines.
How is the pump mounted?
A wall or machine bracket is included. Mount the unit rigidly and level.
Who builds this pump, and how do I get a quotation?
IsoHiTech Lubrication Systems, founded in 2023, engineering since 2006, builds and supports every unit. Email inquiry@isohitech.com for specifications and a quotation.
