Lincoln P205 Multi-Line Lubrication Pump

Aftermarket multi-line pump for Lincoln P205 systems: 1 to 5 elements, K5 to K8 and KR pistons, 350 bar, NLGI 2 grease, 4 to 8 L reservoirs, vertical mount.

Aftermarket P205 Multi-Line Pump Assembly

This page describes an aftermarket pump assembly for Lincoln P205 multi-line lubrication systems.

  • Lincoln is a trademark of its respective owner.
  • This is an aftermarket pump assembly, not manufactured, sponsored, or endorsed by Lincoln.
  • P205 designations are for cross-reference identification only.

The unit offers 1 to 5 outlets, each fed by an independent piston element. You can use direct multi-line supply for small groups, or run the pump as a central source feeding divider valves.

Element Sizes and Output

K50.10 cm3/stroke
K60.16 cm3/stroke
K70.23 cm3/stroke
K80.22 cm3/stroke
KRAdjustable 0.04-0.18 cm3/stroke, 0.7-3 cm3/min

KR elements leave the factory set to maximum. B7 and C7 elements exist for chisel paste and special applications, so confirm before ordering.

Reservoirs and Drives

Reservoir options are 4 L plastic, 8 L plastic, and 5 L sheet metal. Gear ratios are 70:1 single-stage at about 18-20 rpm, 280:1 two-stage at about 4.7-6.0 rpm, and 700:1 two-stage at about 2.0-2.4 rpm.

The standard motor is 0.09 kW at 50 Hz or 0.11 kW at 60 Hz. Voltage choices are three-phase 380-420 V 50 Hz, 440-480 V 60 Hz, or 500 V 50 Hz, with frame size 56, IP55, and class F insulation. A free shaft end option is available.

Lubricants and Operating Limits

Grease range is NLGI 000 through 2. Oil minimum viscosity is 40 cSt at operating temperature. Chisel paste requires the C element only.

Operating temperature is -20 to +80 C without an ultrasonic sensor and -20 to +70 C with one. Drive speed maximum is 25 rpm for grease and 35 rpm for oil. Mounting is vertical with the reservoir on top.

Connections and Monitoring

Outlets use 5 x M22 x 1.5 element ports or plug screws. Filling options are G 1/4, G 1/2, or an adapter with a grease fitting. Weight is about 10.5 kg empty.

Monitoring choices include an ultrasonic level sensor for high, low, and pre-empty signals, or a proximity switch. For divider-fed layouts see progressive lubrication systems. For basic selection details see the grease pump page.

What to Confirm Before Ordering

Confirm element count and sizes, ratio, reservoir, and motor voltage from the old nameplate. If the system has more than 5 lube points, the pump feeds dividers instead of direct outlets. See the complete guide to grease pumps for help reading old markings.

For higher-outlet systems, the larger P215 exists with up to 15 elements. See the P215 multi-line pump page. If you need a configuration check, contact the team with your old nameplate code.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many outlets does this pump have?

The pump has 1 to 5 independent element outlets. More lube points are handled by feeding divider valves from the pump.

Which element size should I choose for my bearings?

K5 is the smallest output and K8 is the largest fixed output. KR is adjustable for applications that need a set range.

Can the output be adjusted after installation?

Only the KR element is adjustable across its rated range. K5, K6, K7, and K8 outputs are fixed by design.

What does 350 bar mean for this pump?

350 bar, about 5,076 psi, is the maximum operating pressure. All connected system components must match that limit.

Which reservoir size should I pick?

Choose 4 L plastic, 5 L sheet metal, or 8 L plastic. Base the size on lubricant consumption and refill access.

Which motor voltage should I order?

Confirm the old nameplate before ordering. Choices are 380-420 V 50 Hz, 440-480 V 60 Hz, or 500 V 50 Hz.

Does this pump handle grease or oil?

It handles grease from NLGI 000 to 2 and oil at 40 cSt minimum. Chisel paste requires the special C element.

How do I handle unused outlets?

Unused element ports are closed with plug screws. The pump can run with fewer elements than the housing allows.

What is the difference between P205 and P215?

The P205 is the compact family with up to 5 elements. The P215 supports up to 15 elements for larger systems.

Who builds this pump, and how do I get a quotation?
