Aftermarket P230 Multi-Line Pump Assembly
This page describes an aftermarket pump assembly for Lincoln P230 multi-line lubrication systems. Lincoln is a trademark of its respective owner. This is an aftermarket pump assembly, not manufactured, sponsored, or endorsed by Lincoln. P230 designations are for cross-reference identification only.
This is a high-capacity multi-line pump for centralized lubrication. It drives up to 30 adjustable radial piston pump elements for direct delivery to multiple points from a single electric power unit.
The P205, P215, P230 Family
| P205 | Up to 5 elements | Compact |
| P215 | Up to 15 elements | Medium |
| P230 | Up to 30 elements | Large systems with 0.25 kW motor |
All three pumps share the same 350 bar pressure range and radial piston element design. The choice between the P205 multi-line pump, the P215 multi-line pump, and this P230 assembly is outlet count. The P230 fits larger machines and production lines where more lubrication points must be served from one pump station.
Pump Elements
The P230 multi-line pump accepts 1 to 30 adjustable elements. Elements are available in K5, K6, and K7 piston diameters. Select element size from the calculated lubricant quantity per point and line resistance, not by choosing the largest. All elements run from one eccentric drive. The number 30 describes capacity. Verify simultaneous demand against element sizes, motor power, and duty cycle before specifying a full set.

| Stirrer | Integrated reservoir stirrer paddle homogenizes lubricant and purges air |
| Monitoring | Optional ultrasonic low-level sensor |
| Enclosure | IP55 |
| Mounting | Vertical |
Reservoir Selection
Choose the 30 kg reservoir for space and weight limits. Choose the 100 kg reservoir where consumption is high or refilling is difficult. The stirrer keeps grease homogeneous in both sizes. The optional low-level sensor automates refill monitoring and reduces the risk of running dry.
What to Confirm Before Ordering
Confirm element count and sizes from the nameplate. Confirm reservoir size. Confirm motor voltage and drive type, whether AC flange, 24V DC, or hydraulic. Confirm overpressure protection is specified, because 350 bar max requires an appropriate overpressure valve. Confirm low-level sensor need. For system-level selection support, see progressive lubrication systems. If the nameplate is not readable, contact the team with the machine type and point count.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between the P230 and the P215?
The P230 supports up to 30 elements and uses a 0.25 kW motor. The P215 supports up to 15 elements for smaller circuits.
What is the difference between the P230 and the P205?
The P230 offers up to 30 elements for large systems. The P205 offers up to 5 elements for compact layouts.
Which element size should I choose?
Calculate the required lubricant quantity per point and check line resistance. Do not default to the largest element size.
Can all 30 outlets run at once?
Yes, if the application allows it. Verify against element sizes, motor power, and duty cycle first.
Which reservoir should I specify?
Choose 30 kg for tight spaces or lower consumption. Choose 100 kg for high consumption or difficult refill access.
What pressure does the P230 produce?
The maximum pressure rating is 350 bar. An appropriate overpressure valve must be specified for protection.
Can the P230 run oil?
Yes, oil from 20 cSt can be used. Grease up to NLGI 2 is also supported.
Is a level sensor included?
The low-level sensor is optional and not included by default. Confirm the requirement before ordering.
What monitoring options are available?
An optional ultrasonic low-level sensor monitors reservoir level. It automates refill monitoring and reduces dry-run risk.
