What the 244047 Is
The Lincoln 244047 is a straight push-to-connect fitting in the Quicklinc system. It connects 1/4 in OD nonmetallic nylon tubing to a 1/8 in NPT male port. This is an aftermarket replacement part for lower-pressure lubricant distribution lines.
The body is nickel-plated brass per distributor listings of the original part. The listed maximum operating pressure is 250 psi (17 bar). This fitting is not a compression adapter and is not intended for high-pressure grease injection service.
Push-To-Connect, Not Compression
The 244047 uses a push-to-connect mechanism. A collet inside the body grips the tube when it is pushed in. An internal seal holds the lubricant. No nut and no ferrule are involved.
A compression fitting works differently. It uses a threaded nut to clamp a ferrule onto the tube. The 244047 has no nut, no ferrule, and no compression sleeve. Do not treat it as a compression tube adapter.

Installation and Removal
Cut the nylon tube square and deburr the end. Push the tube into the fitting until it seats fully. Tug the tube to confirm the collet has gripped it.
To release, press the collar flat against the body while withdrawing the tube. Use a wrench only on the 1/8 in NPT port side. The tube side requires no tools.
Where It Is Used
The 244047 serves low-pressure lubricant distribution lines that use 1/4 in OD nylon tubing. It is not for grease-gun injection lines. For high-pressure grease service, use the Quicklinc steel hose-stud branch instead.
This fitting belongs to the Quicklinc nylon-tube branch. It works within a centralized lubrication system that distributes oil or light grease through nonmetallic lines.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the 244047 a compression fitting?
No, it is a push-to-connect Quicklinc fitting. Compression fittings clamp a ferrule with a nut; this part has neither.
What pressure is it rated for?
The listed maximum operating pressure is 250 psi (17 bar). It serves low-pressure distribution lines, not injection lines.
What tubing does it take?
1/4 in OD nylon or other nonmetallic lubrication tubing. Do not use it with steel hose studs.
What is the body made of?
Nickel-plated brass per distributor listings of the original part. Confirm the finish when ordering.
What thread is on the port side?
1/8 in NPT male. Apply normal pipe-thread practice; the tube side needs no tools.
How do I release the tube?
Press the release collar flat against the body while pulling the tube. Inspect the collet and seals before reuse.
Can I use it on a grease gun?
No, grease gun pressures exceed this fitting class. Use the Quicklinc steel hose-stud branch instead.
Does it work at elevated temperatures?
The catalog extract does not state a temperature range. Confirm the limit for your lubricant and ambient conditions when ordering.
Nylon branch or steel branch – which is this?
This is the nylon-tube branch for low-pressure lines. The steel-stud branch covers high-pressure grease service.
How do I order or get support?
IsoHiTech Lubrication Systems, founded in 2023, engineering since 2006, builds and supports every unit. Email inquiry@isohitech.com for specifications and a quotation.
