Aftermarket Single-Line High-Pressure Grease Injector
This page describes an aftermarket single-line high-pressure grease injector for centralized lubrication systems. This is an aftermarket replacement injector, not manufactured, sponsored, or endorsed by any original equipment maker.
The injector meters an externally adjustable volume of grease to one point during each pump pressure cycle. It is intended for use with NLGI 2 grease in systems operating between 127 and 241 bar. The output is set per point, and the unit resets automatically when the main line vents.
How a Single-Line Injector Works
The pump pressurizes the main line, and each injector meters and discharges its set volume to its connected bearing point. When the line vents, the injector resets by spring for the next cycle. An indicator stem shows piston movement during discharge and reset.
Each injector works independently in parallel on the same supply line. One injector does not wait for another to complete its cycle. This parallel operation allows different points on the same system to receive different volumes in the same pressure event.
Injectors Versus Progressive Dividers
Single-line injectors meter independently and in parallel. A blocked point does not stop other injectors from discharging. The remaining injectors continue to deliver their set volumes on the next pressure cycle.
Progressive dividers work in forced sequence, where a blockage stops the sequence and prevents downstream points from receiving lubricant. Injectors suit machines where points need different individual doses without disturbing the rest of the circuit. For more detail, see single-line lubrication system and progressive lubrication systems.
Output Adjustment
Output is adjusted with the indicator cap screw. Hand-tight is minimum discharge. Up to 8 counterclockwise turns increase the output. Each turn adds about 0.148 cm3. The full range is 0.131 to 1.31 cm3 per cycle.
Set each injector per point from the lubrication requirement and verify delivery at commissioning. Always adjust from the minimum position and count turns to avoid over-metering a bearing.

What to Confirm Before Ordering
Confirm your system is a single-line injector system, not progressive or dual-line. Confirm output range and pressure match your pump and line setup. Confirm inlet and outlet threads before ordering a replacement or a manifold assembly.
Confirm whether you need a single injector or a manifold with multiple outlets. Check the grease pump page if you are also replacing the supply side. If you are unsure about fit, contact the team with your current injector details and line pressure.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is this a progressive divider?
No, it is a single-line injector with independent parallel metering. It does not depend on a divider sequence.
What happens if one point blocks?
That injector stops delivering to the blocked point. Other injectors continue to operate and discharge normally.
How is output adjusted?
Turn the cap screw counterclockwise up to 8 turns. Each turn adds about 0.148 cm3.
What pressure range does this injector need?
It operates on systems from 127 to 241 bar. The line must vent to 41 bar minimum.
What grease can I use?
Use NLGI 0, 1, or 2 grease. Confirm your pump can move the selected grade.
Does the indicator prove delivery?
It shows piston movement only, not flow to the bearing. You must verify the point separately.
Can each point have a different dose?
Yes, set each injector individually on the same line. Parallel metering allows different outputs per point.
Is this available as a single unit or manifold?
Both. Use one injector alone or choose a manifold with 1 to 6 outlets.
Will it replace my SL-1 style injector?
Confirm threads, output range, and mounting before ordering. Match the vent pressure to your system.
Who builds this injector, and how do I get a quotation?
IsoHiTech Lubrication Systems, founded in 2023, engineering since 2006, builds and supports every unit. Email inquiry@isohitech.com for specifications and a quotation.
