The valve outlet fitting with check valve is a transition fitting between a progressive distribution block and a grease line. The M10 x 1.0 male thread screws into an outlet port on the distributor, and the quick-connect push-in end accepts 4 mm OD tubing. Inside the body, a spring-loaded non-return valve opens while the pump delivers grease and closes when the pump stops.
System Role in Progressive Distribution
During a pumping cycle the valve lifts off its seat and grease passes forward to the bearing. When the cycle ends, the stainless steel spring seats the valve element again. The branch stays charged and isolated, so the next pumping cycle starts from a known condition.
This fitting is the outlet end of the system, not the block itself. If you need the distribution block this fitting screws into, see the mono progressive blocks. For a remote mounted anchor for the grease line, see the remote grease anchor block. For the full family of line connections, see the push-to-connect grease line fittings.

Why a Check Valve at the Outlet
Without a non-return valve, grease in a branch line can creep back between cycles. Metered quantities drift, and trapped pressure can push lubricant into a neighboring outlet. The check valve closes that path and protects the metering accuracy of the progressive block.
Thread and Port Compatibility
The inlet thread is M10 x 1.0, a metric fine pitch with a 6g tolerance class, and it is not interchangeable with the coarse M10 x 1.5 thread. The fitting is dimensionally compatible with common progressive lubrication system outlet ports – confirm the thread pitch when ordering. For any threaded joint, confirm the thread form and sealing arrangement when ordering.
Tubing Connection: 4 mm OD Push-In
The push-in end is sized for tubing with an outside diameter of exactly 4 mm, in PA12, PU, or nylon. Cut the tube square and push it fully home. To release, press the release ring and withdraw the tube; never pull by force.
Installation and Torque
Thread the fitting in by hand, then tighten to 10 – 15 Nm on the hex. On aluminum or cast-iron valve bodies, do not exceed 20 Nm; over-tightening can distort the port and strip the block thread.
Honest Limitations
- The check valve is a non-return device only, not a pressure relief valve.
- The push-in end accepts 4 mm OD tubing only; other tube sizes need a different outlet fitting.
- The lubricant range is NLGI 000 – 2 grease; oil systems need a fitting rated for oil.
- Standard NBR seals suit most duties; select FKM when temperature or lubricant chemistry calls for it.

What Is Supplied
Each order supplies one valve outlet fitting with integrated spring-loaded check valve, M10 x 1.0 male inlet and 4 mm OD push-in outlet, in the body material and seal option confirmed on your order. Tubing, distribution blocks, and mounting hardware are supplied separately.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is this outlet fitting the right part for my lubrication point?
Buy it if your progressive block has an M10 x 1.0 outlet port and your branch line is 4 mm OD grease tubing.
Why does a distributor outlet need a check valve?
It isolates the branch, holds the metered charge between cycles, and stops grease from flowing back or across into neighboring outlets.
Is the thread M10 x 1.0 or M10 x 1.5?
It is M10 x 1.0, a metric fine pitch with a 6g tolerance. The coarse M10 x 1.5 thread will not mate correctly.
Is the tubing connection 4 mm OD or 4 mm ID?
It is 4 mm outside diameter. Verify the tubing outside diameter is exactly 4 mm before ordering.
Can this check valve act as a pressure relief valve?
No. It only allows one-way flow toward the lube point and cannot open in reverse to vent system pressure.
How tight should I install the fitting?
Tighten to 10 – 15 Nm, and never exceed 20 Nm on aluminum or cast-iron valve bodies.
How do I insert and remove the tubing?
Cut the tube square and push it fully home. To remove, press the release ring and pull; never yank the tube out.
What are the symptoms of a failing check valve?
Watch for grease flowing back toward the block, drifting metered quantities, or a branch that cannot hold its charge.
Will this fitting work with my progressive lubrication system?
It is dimensionally compatible with common outlet ports; confirm the M10 x 1.0 pitch and 4 mm OD tubing, or send us your port and tubing details.
